Gyro-stabilized GIMBAL – 3 axis [Pan 360o - Tilt 200o - Roll (on option) 360o]. This high-performance stabilized Gimbal is dedicated to observation missions in the civilian, paramilitary and military fields specially built to be mounted on the nose of our HEF30 but can be used as well in various other UAV / UGV or manned vehicles.

The Sphere 30 has 2 sensors of choice but the customer can very easily incorporate into this Gimbal any sensors from photographic unit, filming camera or other scientific instrument. This Sphere-30 is compatible with our UAV HEF30 and HE26

sphere-30-flirr-sony-canon-cam-inside_340x393A tracking turret providing the data link with the vehicle: it tracks it in real time.

To control the sphere a  transmitter is used [Iftron Tech]. Device is used with a transmitter and a receiver. This device enables command sending, acknowledgement feedback, and sending of the data acquired by the payload to the ground station, plus all vehicle data required to ensure proper mission tracking and control.

Depending on the system and the mission, more or less powerful transmissions are used, and in the case of a very fast vehicle in large 3D spaces the HF transmitter is built into a tracking turret, which automatically tracks the vehicle. Depending on the end requirements, digital or analogical transmissions may be developed.
